Despite a few a few drawbacks on Martinos 180sx build, it’s been getting quite a bit of love lately. Martino is finally able to start buying the final pieces to put together his everlasting build (It’s been a while since he’s been able to drive this thing, and I can tell it’s driving him crazy, but he’s getting there) Right now he’s working on his wiring harness which is a total fucking pain in the ass. I don’t know about you, but I have OCD when it comes to wires, cables, etc. Even though I’ve never really dug into my harness, I know how much it sucks from surfing around the interwebz and seeing some insane wire tucks, and cool engine bays. It definitely takes a lot of time and patience…
Just look at all this shit… fucking Ew. I dread the day I have to get personal with my wiring harness like this, but I know I’ll be way happier with a nicely tucked harness, and with unnecessary shit removed. Once I get another daily I’ll do work, for now I don’t mind what I have and everything works properly so why fix it, right? As you can see the 180 is now caged thanks to Rene at CenterLine Motorsports. Intercooler piping, Rad/Fan wiring, engine bay paint among other things is what needs to be done so this thing can be back on the road. Martino needs to hurry the fuck up, he’s going to kill himself if he misses out on another summer of cool shit.
Another car that is MIA right now is Liams Cefiro. Something about twins fucking up, Single conversion, 400tq, and racewars. Who cares, I’ll leave the technical talk to him over at his Zilvia build thread. All I know is that as soon as this beast is alive again there will be a lot of cruising and I’ll be doing a feature on his car that will be awesome. That goes for the rest of the Odd Couple crew. That’s right, it’s no longer Dorimoto so get with the times. Anywho, that’s what’s been going on lately. If you read my last blog post you’d know I did an impromptu shoot of my car somewhere in the woods, so if you want to see those, leave me lots of comments.
