Back in Action… Soon

Sup nigglets!? I know it’s been a while, but I live in Canada, where cool cars die for six months during the winter. Thankfully that time is slowly (really fucking slowly) coming to an end, and it’s almost time to revive the car from it’s long, cold, hiatus. Last night my dude Liam came over and helped me tune the new wheels onto the car.

We played with the coilovers, and alignment to get the car to sit how we wanted. Unfortunately my poor choice of tire sizes means the car is not drivable until I get new ones, but this was to get the gist of how the car would sit, and to get me excited to drive it again. It worked. I can’t wait to fucking hang out with my friends and drive around this Spring/Summer. I’ll leave you guys with a few pictures of the car. Just some teasers. Hang in there!!!

Oh and Liam + Shank + Coilover = Good.

Liam and Jesse do spin outs and stuff. This took place in a closed course with the supervision of Superman and the Hulk for precautionary measures. I slid around in the Silvia too but unfortunately the footage was lost when we had to evacuate the area due to a nearby volcano erupting. All that said… Fun was had. #OddCouple

So I’ve finally come to the point in my “build” where I’m satisfied with my car, and can look at it and say “Damn… That thing’s dope, and I started from scratch” I know, I know, It’s not a crazy build, which is why I can’t help but put the word “Build” in quotes. I’ve seen countless threads of others doing super dope shit to their cars, Immaculate engine bays, full wire tucks, insane wheel setups, a zillion horse powders, and just some insane things that I have nothing but respect for. The time, patience, money, and knowledge that goes into these builds is superb.

PROGRESS

Despite a few a few drawbacks on Martinos 180sx build, it’s been getting quite a bit of love lately. Martino is finally able to start buying the final pieces to put together his everlasting build (It’s been a while since he’s been able to drive this thing, and I can tell it’s driving him crazy, but he’s getting there) Right now he’s working on his wiring harness which is a total fucking pain in the ass. I don’t know about you, but I have OCD when it comes to wires, cables, etc. Even though I’ve never really dug into my harness, I know how much it sucks from surfing around the interwebz and seeing some insane wire tucks, and cool engine bays. It definitely takes a lot of time and patience…
